Three haunts open their doors Thursday October 2nd. Dark Raven Manor & Scare at the Fair along with America’s Scream park Frightworld. Doors open at 6:30PM.

Dark Raven Manor and Scare at the Fair are both located at the Hamburg Fairground now featuring six haunted attractions at one location.

Frightworld is now located at Northtown Plaza on Sheridan Drive near Niagara Falls Blvd. On opening night Frightworld is running a promotion, the first 100 people at the door will get free admission to the attractions. Frightworld introduces an all new haunt for 2008!

As a reminder Buffalo’s other premiere haunted attraction the House of Horrors opened it’s doors last weekend and the terror continues this weekend as well. Now located at Gardenview Plaza Union Rd. Cheektowaga N.Y.

The House of Horrors and Haunted Catacombs is hosting the HOTTEST HALLOWEEN QUEEN BASH with national recording artist, Murder by Death at Rock-n-Roll Heaven and Coyotes Night Club.

Join Z101’s Corey Motley for a live concert with Kat DeLuna on Sunday, October 14th
from 7 to 9pm at Frightworld America’s Screampark. Enjoy some of the haunted
attractions inside Frightworld from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Listen to Opening Act “Innocent
Bystanders” from 7:30 to 8pm. Feature act Sony recording artist “Kat Deluna” will
perform live on-stage until 9pm. After the concert Frightworld will reopen all 5
haunted attractions for your Halloween entertainment.

It’s like a Free concert with your PAID admission to Frightworld.

It has been one year since the October Storm occurred. Snow fall swept through Western New York and took trees, power lines and buildings down and left behind destruction. As a result of the October Storm local haunters suffered. From home haunters to large scale operations, all felt the impact of the aftermath. Haunts could not open due to power outages or travel advisories prevented patrons from making the trip. Home haunters had to alter plans or simply abandon haunting all together as a result of the of trees limbs and branched scattered up and down streets and yards preventing trick-or-treating from happening. So far this year the weather does not have snow in the forecast so go out and celebrate this weekend by doing all things you could not do last year at this time because of the snow storm. There are plenty of haunters in WNY waiting to scare the yell out of you this weekend and all the way through Halloween.
